Funny story! Reminds me of when my cousin went into Wendy's as well and ordered a hamburger sandwich. It wasn't until she ate all of the hamburger sandwich that she realized the hamburger sandwich wasn't to her liking. According to her, they gave her more lettuce and bread than the actual ground beef, so she went and complained to the manager and ended up talking so obnoxiously loud about the ordeal, that the manager rewarded her another sandwich but with two slices of meat this time. Wish I had had a camcorder that day!

I was once at a 'home-style' restaurant with various all-you-can-eat specials. These two VERY large people ordered the AYCE chicken strips. They each had two heaping plates, then ordered the third. About 2/3 of the way through, the 'lady' (and I use that term loosely, cuz she was n-a-s-t-y!), called the waitress over and complained that one of her strips was overcooked. She demanded that not just one, but BOTH dinners be comped. I was happy when the manager agreed to comp their drinks only, then asked them not to return. Seems they'd made a habit of getting free food. The nerve of some people!

This burns my bacon
Alas, being rude/loud etc DOES pay off as most people are too polite to set limits on people being rude and unreasonable.

So people 'learn' bellowing pays off.

It is really rather sad how some people find validation by throwing tantrums at minimum wage employees.
