On Combustion, Pricks and Hoping for a Gay Idol

I’ve seen this poster on a number of blogs lately. It’s apparently being distributed by conservative groups that have an issue with a gay man becoming the next winner of American Idol.

I, for one, have no tolerance for this drivel.  I mean, are you kidding me with this shit? When is it all going to end? When are we going to just learn to shut our fucking mouths and let people live the lives they want to live? I’m pretty sure this guy’s dressing in drag has done harm to no one.

I haven’t watched American Idol in years. I have no idea whether or not this guy can actually sing. I do know, however, that I would absolutely love to see him take it all. Maybe his becoming America’s chosen one will cause some Bibles to combust with the fires of Hell. And if we are lucky, the thumpers will combust right along with them.

Then again, none of those conservative pricks were too bothered back when that queen Tom Cruise was America’s chosen one. And I bet all those homophobes have no problem seeing one of their own posing like a trashy nude bitch (ahem, Miss California).

So what’s the big deal if some guy who has pictures of himself kissing another man becomes a recording artist? If you don’t want to listen to him, turn of the television and don’t buy his albums. It’s as fucking simple as that.

And stay out of my way because I am in one hell of a bad mood.

It would be a travesty because there are NO gay recording artists, too.

Adam actually has a great vocal range. Despite the push from the Right, Adam is doing quite well and has been for the last several weeks. Yes, he can wail for sure. I have found most of us that are gay to be overachievers and Adam certainly is reaching for the best. Good luck to him in the next two weeks. Personally I’m not sure I want a whole album of Adam wailing at the top of his lungs (albeit he does it well), plus I’ve been a Danny Gokey fan from the beginning.
